The seif Awards for Social Entrepreneurship rewards ventures, applying innovative business ideas to current social and/or environmental problems. In its 7th edition, the seif Awards 2017 aims to follow on its tradition to celebrate and promote innovation drivers for change at national and international level. Social enterprises from all over Europe and in all sectors are invited to apply. A total of 50.000 CHF in cash prize is available to be divided among the winners of each of the following five categories:

If you are a social entrepreneur interested in taking part, please submit your application until 30 June 2017. You will only need to have a ready business plan (about 15-25 pages) and a proof of concept of your business idea. For more information, please read our FAQ about the seif Awards.

Applications for the seif Awards are accepted from 1 April 2017 to 30 June 2017 and only if handed in via the form on the website.

Next steps after the application
The finalists will be preselected by a Jury of 16 experts and invited to pitch before the Jury on 28 August 2017. End of July we will contact you and inform you whether you are invited to pitch. The winners will be announced on 2 October at the Awards Ceremony in Volkshaus Zurich.
